These Products are Handmade using best quality raw materials with fair pay to the weavers from Assam. The composition of all our Fabrics are 100% Eri Silk and organically dyed from 100% vegetable dyes. The Red dye is obtained from sappanwood which is also known as Brazil Wood. The source is obtained from Brazil Wood extract.

All Purbashree products have been hand-woven and hand-crafted by weavers and artisans from around Northeast India in villages mostly at their homes. 

It may take a week or two to prepare your order as our artisans don't typically store any inventory. In case of some handloom sarees the waiting period can be up to 22 days before shipping. Kindly keep this in mind when you place an order with us as these are all handmade products. This dedicated time is provided to the artisans so that they are able to produce the best quality products. However, we will definitely keep you updated with the progress of your order, send email notifications once your order has been shipped and you can always reach us via mail or on WhatsApp.

Unevenness in weaves, prints, minor slubs in fabric, minor irregularities in handicrafts and slight variation in color are expected outcome of an authentic craft process. These variations are typical characteristics of any hand-crafted product and are not to be considered as damage or defective. For more details read our returns and refund policy here.
