All the products present on Purbashree website have been hand-woven and hand-crafted by weavers and artisans in villages mostly at their homes.
Unevenness in weaves, prints, minor slubs in fabric and slight variation in color are expected outcome of an authentic craft process. These variations are typical characteristics of any hand-crafted product and are not to be considered as damage or defective.
Purbashree products mostly come from small master weavers, co-operatives and artisan entrepreneurs. As small businesses, while they strive hard to make and sell authentic handmade products to their customers, it is difficult for them to accept returns from customers as many times the products are not returned in original condition. For example a silk saree which is returned back in crumpled condition to the weaver cannot be resold again and is a huge loss for them.
Shipping Policy:
All our products are handmade and it might take 1-2 weeks to prepare them. Handloom can take up to 22 days. Please keep this waiting period in mind when you place an order with us. We only sell authentic handicraft and handloom products which are sourced from artisans and weavers and this dedicated time is provided to them so that they are able to produce the best quality products.
In case of delays and issues in the manufacturing process the same will be conveyed to the customer. Once an order has been shipped users will receive a mail so that they can track their orders.
For international orders, the orders can take 10-20 days to reach you. We will provide you with the ETA once the product has been shipped.
