You can’t buy love but you can buy handmade.

Purbashree.com started as an ecommerce portal to promote sustainable handmade products. But now we are transitioning it in to a platform which can provide the required market linkage to new and upcoming artisans of Northeast India. We help provide the necessary technological and logistical needs. We strongly believe that by supporting this cause we will not only be able to empower the existing artisans but also inspire the next generation.

We are excited to see how this new chapter unfolds.

DIRECT FROM ARTISANS

Now you can directly buy from the artisans and show them your support. Being a govt. enterprise we have made it a priority to provide our artisans with all the necessary facilities so that they can focus on their craft while we can help them with technology and in reaching the right customers.

SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTS

All the products listed are completely handmade, made out of natural fibres. They come from the remote parts of Northeast India. This is a reason why it can take up to 2 weeks to ship your products. However, we believe that this is the way to go ahead to build a better and sustainable future.

CUSTOMER SUPPORT

When it comes to shipping we understand that hiccups can rise at anytime. In the past too we had to deal with such issues and this has only made our team stronger and we have put better tech and teams at place. We assure that our customer support will always be there for your help.
