Vijay kumar biswa is a nongmynsong, Shillong based mastercraft person who has been known for his art of making dry flowers. He has been in this craft since 15 years and is an active trainer of Government programmes and workshops. He makes dry flower out of waste materials like wood skins, dry leaves, waste clothes etc. The world of craft has become more convenient and favourite from him when his wife Kavita Biswa too joined hands for dry flowers.
Vijay and Kavita have won a lot of handicrafts competitions and brought pride moments to Meghalaya together and the journey is still on to achieve more from dry flowers.
