35 years old Raju Tumung lives in sonapur, a small town located in the outskirts (20 km away) of Guwahati city. He was born with Locomotor disability which makes him unable to walk without support. But life goes on, his father engaged him in bamboo weaving during his young days to keep his mind occupied. Raju is now a professional bamboo crafter which is his one and only income for his wife and his 16 years old son. His skillful hands are looking after his son education He has been making beautiful bamboo utility products, furniture and souvenirs that he sells in Guwahati city.
