I am Neilhai Doungel from Dimapur, Nagaland. I am a widow. You can already guess how hard my life has been as a single mom with no one to support and no source of income. It was such a roller coaster experience for me because I didn’t have education to go find a job. I joined Runway Nagaland a startup based in Dimapur to make banana fibre crafts and Naga jewellry on October 17 ‘2018 and my life has changed since then. It has been a total of 4 years since I started working here. I work under the Cutting and Tailoring Department and also make Jewellery side by side as I have always been passionate about it. Working here has given me a hope to live and to be independent.
