Born and brought up in Chite Veng, Aizwal, Lalremruata is a young man who randomly got into a handicraft training session held on 2019 and somehow learnt the basket weaving techniques. And since then Lalremruata started his journey with handicrafts. He can now give any weaving shape by bamboo, however has mastered in making Thul, (Thul is a traditional type of basket produced here which is meant only for storage. It has a lid and is ideal for storing various household items.)
