Coming from a lower middle class family, Chitra decided to pursue her business with her handloom products. Being from a rural assamese family, weaving comes from every mother. Chitra learnt all the weaving skills from her mother ans sister. Interestingly Chitra living in the Assam Nagaland border, she an also weave in a loinloom. After trying her hands on loinloom, she is now more keen and skillfull in the loinloom. She has been producing garments woven in loinloom. Chitra keeps looking for opportunities where she can sell her products.
